All raw material used in the creation of the product comes from local and ethical sources.

I AM FAIR is a company mainly run by women.
PLANT A TREE PARTICIPANT
The artisan participates in a reforestation program.
GMO FREE
The product does not contain any genetically modified organisms.
ETHICAL FABRIC SOURCE
The artisan creates the garments using ethically sourced fabrics, which are certified and recognized by either a Canadian or American association.
ECO FRIENDLY
The artisan may not have a recognized certification, but commits to using only natural products, without impact on the environment.
HANDMADE
The product is handmade, either by the artisan or employees on a fair wage.
PLASTIC FREE
The artisan commits to not using any plastic in this product or its packaging.
ECO FRIENDLY PACKAGING
The artisan uses recycled plastic or plastic-free materials for the packaging.
LOCAL BUSINESS
Products created within 250km of your shipping address.
MADE IN CANADA
The product has been made in Canada using raw material which may not have been locally sourced.
RECYCLED PRODUCT
The artisan uses recycled materials in manufacturing the products.
CRUELTY FREE
The product is certified Vegan by PETA.
VEGAN
The artisan does not use animal products or animal testing in the manufacturing of this product, although a recognized certification is not available.
FAIR TRADE
The artisan may not hold a recognized certification, but the requirements for a fair trade product are met. These include fair wages to employees and assurance that no child is involved in the manufacturing of raw materials sourced.
